Dawn to dusk

I went out yesterday with Geoff to get some early morning shots at Salt Creek..Now before I go any further, I gotta tell you about this guy Geoff. This guy is ridiculous. Just last week he broke his toe while running down to Church, and literally two days later broke a finger...AND HE STILL RIPS. HARD. This guy was pulling into gnarly barrels alllll morning and just charging like a champ. The guy has his finger splinted up with MATCHES for the love of God.

Anyways, after getting a few shots he had to go to work, and I, well..had to edit photos. But after a few hours passed I ran into him again and we decided to go hit San O' for a little late night loving. I even got to catch a couple waves at the end bc my camera ended up dying..poor planning, great results.

 

 

 

 

TImmy Patterson Surfboards

I had a chance to meet another local shaper the other day..gotta love living in San Clemente (down the street from the "Surf Ghetto" mind you) It was my first time seeing how boards are glassed after they've been shaped and it was pretty legit, not gonna lie. Stoked on how the shots came out but I def want to head back there and get some more shots..maybe even bring along a micro lens. Who knows..

Lowers - Latenight.

I started working with the DSC Surf Team down here in San Clemente as a mentor and its offered me the opportunity to hang out with and shoot some of the best groms Cali has to offer. Here are some shots we got down at Lowers this past week..stoked how the lens flare is coming out. It's kind of trippy when your floating out there, tracking a surfer mid flight right through the sun..the lens flare..the brightness..the wave hitting you in the face..It all comes together so nicely hahaa.
